Just started trying out hydroponics for the first time. Planted these in the hydroponic planter 2 days ago, water and nutrients and 16hrs/8 hrs light/dark. Is this mold, fungus, or part of the normal germination process? I did try the paper towel trick on the tomato seeds days before. Bok Choy planted dry. In peat moss sponges. Thank you!

yes, this is good. Seeds will sooner or later try to increase their root surface area after successful germination – which will look like this.
Air roots! Always a good sign
Those are roots not mold or fungus
