My five year old spider has 66 babies!! I’ve decided to propagate them all for my wedding centerpieces.

Congrats on your wedding. Love the idea propagation centerpieces! You could send them home with your guests as favors.

Have one growing “wild” outside in zone 10 coastal california that produces babies that i try to prop indoors in water or soil and they fail to thrive and eventually die 🙁

  5. Awww that’s a great idea! I propagated [this one](https://i.imgur.com/5JOMGMa.jpeg) about three months ago. It’s been under grow light that produce anywhere from 400-600 foot candles depending on placement. It’s off to the races as you can see! Mine still clearly needs about another 3 months or so before it will look like a typical spider plant, but it wouldn’t be too big to serve as a centerpiece yet.

I thought this reference might help with your timing. So…call it 6ish months?
