Wanted to share a pic of my little spider baby! I bought a kit whilst on family vacation this summer. This is the only seed that's grown (so far). Hopefully I can keep it alive!
Pines, and conifers in general, will struggle indoors and need to be outdoors 24/7/365. If it survives until spring place it outdoors once evening temps get above 40f.

Two years ago started the same way. Gifted a miniature “bonsai” kit. The cypress seeds included never popped, but the fire was lit and I’ve been going ever since. I now have about 30ish trees that I have collected from my area. None are bonsai yet, but this hobby is a practice in patience and I love imagining what the future holds for these little babies.

I’d slip pot it into a much bigger pot (leave the existing soil and burlap sack intact) and get it outside in the early spring and let it grow for several years.
In the meantime, you can study up on the tree’s specific horticultural requirements to help it thrive.
Good luck! 🙂

You are very patient, and if not you will become so.
