my partner bought me this amaryllis bulb after me talking about wanting to have indoor plants to tide me over until i can start my outdoor garden in the spring. i know it’s a perennial and winter is technically it’s dormant season but i said screw it and started. watered once a day to where the soil is damp, sitting out of direct sunlight, and my mom said to talk to it ever day so i’ve been doing that. every day it’s way taller than the day before but i noticed its a bit brown in the middle and im worried i will kill it before it even gets a chance to bloom. i did trim off some of the brown parts at the top of the green bits but the brown in the middle of the stalk (?) has me worried. google was not my friend. and i did do a fair amount of research before even potting it, but figured people with experience would give me better answers. thanks in advance!!
