KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A longstanding event bringing hand-made floral arrangements and other decorative items is returning for its 72nd year.
The Kalamazoo Garden Council, or KGC, will be hosting their annual Holiday Greens Sale Friday and Saturday at the Portage Zhang Senior Center.

The event, which doubles as a fundraiser, unites nine participating Garden Clubs and brings a wide array of holiday items for your home, gift giving, or anyone on your holiday list.
“It keeps going because we love doing this. You know, we’ve got some seniors who go to Florida for the winter and maybe are staying at home now. They couldn’t wait to get back because they missed the green sale at Christmas time. And and making the arrangements. And the clubs get tall to work together, you know, we’re not in our separate meetings,” KGC Co-President Karla Labby said.
