Hello, beginner here, as in I haven't land/aqua scaped ever. Fam is getting a baby red eared slider soon and I want to make a paludarium for them. We're gonna buy either 10-25 gallon tank, and I have no idea how to make it, or at least design it.

My friend gave some design ideas, (aquascaper guy) and I drew them down. Which do you guys think is the best choice as a beginner?

Concept 1:
Half of the tank is going to be land, and the other half is water. My friend suggested putting mesh bags beneath the soil to elevate it and keep it from getting soaked in water, and put a barrier of rocks with an added layer of sand to keep it from seeping through. Also to keep the soil from eroding over time.
That's pretty much it.

Concept 2:
The dry area is elevated, and there's space beneath it for more room for the baby turtle to swim in.

The area is going to be held up by a platform, supported by plastic beams. (Ill figure this out down the line but you get the idea.) Then it'll be covered by rocks/pebbles.

The platform itself is going to be lined with rocks, and maybe sealed off from inside so that the soil doesn't erode or soak in the water.

Concept 3:
Mostly water and 1/4 land, more like an aquarium. There will be a rock pillar in the corner, and a thin beach on the other side of the tank. There will be soil, but only for the aquatic plants. The rest is going to be covered in sand.
Probably also the simplest design.

Concept 1 and 3 are probably the easiest to do as a beginner, but then again I have no experience and looking for advice too. Open to any suggestions, ideas or tips on how to go through with this.
