Hello! For the past few months (since before it got cold here) my pothos has been exclusively putting out small, deformed leaves in clusters along the vine. Looks like it got burnt at the edges on some of them or something. I will add that there are multiple cuttings in this pot and this is the only one that's vining. I've already tried fertilizing it to no avail. Does anybody know what this could be?

Attached images mainly feature the end of the vine but it's affecting the entire length.

Thank you!

Some of my plants were doing this and it turned out to be thrips. They’re very tiny and hard to see

For your sake I’m hoping I’m wrong, but back before I knew how small thrips are, the first thing I noticed was the malformed leaves they can cause. Thrips larvae can damage the leaves as they’re forming and cause them to come out disfigured.

Have a suuuper close look with a headlamp/magnifier (if you have one) for any other signs of thrips.

Mine used to do this when I had the vine pressed up against a window. Is the vine free flowing? If so, I’d consider what the other commenters said. I hope it’s not pests!

I feel like it’s always thrips if you have malformed leaves. Hope I am wrong.

Same thing happened to my pothos and it turned out to be thrips. I’ve been occasionally spritzing water and rubbing alcohol on the leaves and it’s been keeping them at bay.
