So, this is about the second year, I’m pretty sure, of growing fruit trees in pots. Yes, it sort of got a little bit out of hand. It goes around there. There’s Benji. And yeah, the whole plan was to grow stuff in pots for a year or so, move to acreage, plant everything in the ground, and yeah, just go crazy. So, we’ve gone crazy. We haven’t planted anything in the ground and we haven’t moved. Mainly because never enough money to move. I know. So yeah, let’s just go through what has happened and future plans in the garden now that I’m probably not going to move anytime soon. I know I work all the time. If you didn’t know, I’ve got an aquarium shop and yeah, another channel where I just have tons and tons of fish. huge fish room, shop for fish, fish everywhere. Gardening is just sort of an extra fun thing that I do. Anyway, I think what I’m going to do is now that I have like oh there’s probably a good I don’t even know how many pots of trees I’ve got, but there are countless countless different types of fruit tree. Lots of different citrus. Is that a slug? Lots of slugs. We don’t usually see slugs in the garden, but we’ve had a week of rain and yeah. Oh, look. There’s those bloody beetles. Now they’re a pest. Now, my whole garden is just organic. So, no sprays, no fertilizers. Well, not many fertilizers, natural sort of stuff. And yeah, no nasty bug sprays or anything like that because, you know, it is what it is. Oh, my coffee tree has new flowers. That’s awesome. Oh, oh, oh, oh, and one of the smaller ones is developing flowers. That’s great. We didn’t get enough coffee to actually make a cup of coffee with that one tree last year, but I got another two dodgy trees. And I think they were just lacking something because they were a lot paler than that, but they’re starting to go dark like that one. Yeah, they’re still in pots as well. Everything is in pots. Oh, mango. Okay, this is why I like to do these videos because I can stop and check out a mango. Look at that. That’s ridiculous. One mango. We’ll see if that one survives. Oh, my iawaska vine has taken over again. This thing, oh my god, I need to trim it down. It is actually in a pot, but looking at the growth of it has gone through the bottom of the pot again. So, I have to deal with that. My cactus garden has turned into a giant mess of purple beans and grass. There are cactus in here somewhere. Yeah, I need to prune all those. Just haven’t just haven’t. But I will get round to doing that. My goodness. Yeah. Anyway, as I was saying, I think the future plans are to move a lot of the trees around the back. My backyard is pretty huge compared to the front. This is just the front. And yeah, wow, look how overgrown everything is. Sorry, I’m getting distracted. Yeah, plant everything in the back in nice uniform lines and just do maybe a gravel path and get rid of all the lawn and stuff like that. Let’s jump to the back and I can show you what I mean. So, the back is just pretty much a dumping ground for plants and all sorts of stuff. I know. Um, I haven’t done anything with this hydroponic system. I’ve still got some celery going really, really well at the moment. Everything else is just empty. Some of the Betto buckets, I have not done anything with them. They’re just sitting there waiting for me to consider what I’m going to grow in them. There is Benji lurking around. But yeah, the backyard is just a dumping ground for plants and there old Avery tanks upside down. Just generally a big mess. Now there is a lot of room like that is oh 20 foot. So a lot of room from there to there. I need to bulldoze all that. There is a rainwater tank there. There was a giant I just have to watch where I walk because there are prickles everywhere. So if you see me I go out like that. Oh, you’ll know why. Giant Iawaska vine. I know that is there’s actually a shade house underneath there. So I need to deal with that. But I think the plan is get rid of a few of these palm trees which is getting way way too big. And yeah, I’ve got all that area there. Trim that down a little bit. So, I like my Iosca vine. So, I’ll just get rid of some bottom bits and it can be the canopy. I’ve got a shade house there. I need to move these old averies here. But there is a lot of room. There’s a pond. Yeah. So, even from there to there, we’ve got like a good 20 foot of area. So, I think this giant bed here of brimmads I can move. It goes back a fair bit. So, I think the whole idea is to Yeah. Look at my clothes line. That was in the last storm. Huge branch just destroyed it. But I think yeah, if I get rid of all that, redo all this instead of lawn, which is completely pointless, just have nice gravel pathways, plant all my trees down here. That is the idea. So yeah, this is the back. Let’s jump back to the front. So, I feel like I need a giant skip bin to dump on the driveway just to get rid of a whole lot of those palms. There’s a parrot somewhere up there. There they are. Welcome to Australia, cockatos. Noisy bloody things. At least they haven’t found my fruit trees yet. Otherwise, they just wipe everything out. But yeah, I think maybe a skip bin one day and just skip a whole lot of those palms and stuff. Look how overgrown everything has got. Yeah, that’s crazy. That’s because we’ve had rain, obviously. Ah, look at these. What one is that? That is a Oh. Oh, no. My tags are starting to die. Indian guava. That’s got huge. So, all these need to really go in the ground. And yeah. Wow. Same with this. This is ridiculous. The mulbury has got huge. Everything has just got huge. The hog plum is in there somewhere. There are some hog plums. Disgusting looking things, aren’t they? I know. That’s a dwarf hog plum. Yeah, it’s just gone a little bit a little bit hectic. Um, yeah. What can we say? Grapes are doing well. I’ve just let them do their thing and they’re all up that bilad. Yeah, otherwise everything is working fine. But yeah, I think in the ground. Look at this. I know. Giant trees in tiny pots. Obviously, the root is through there. Yeah, just have to deal with all of that. But I think that is the future plan. I think I will move a lot of these to the back, plant them in, do an actual nice area, and then I can fin this down. Now, we almost lost the cage. If you’ve been watching any of my videos, this cage has been set up for what, a year and a half. And yeah, the last storm kind of butchered it. Look at that. It’s gone. I knew it would because it’s just a basic cheap cage off eBay. Yeah. See, it’s starting to starting to break apart in the sun. It’s not really designed for Queensland weather. And so many tomatoes. Look at that. The tomatoes actually breaking through the top of the cage. I know. Oh, and yeah, my um pier is growing crazy big. The apples are growing. So, all this needs to really go in the ground. There is another one of those bloody pests. Get off. Get off. Yeah, it just stunk me. Bloody stink beetle. I know. I need some other bugs to eat those bugs. Otherwise, everything else seems to be going okay. Yeah, it’s just a little bit little bit hectic. I think my um Davidson plum surviving. I don’t think it likes too much sun, so I’ll have to move that maybe a little bit more undercover. Yeah. Otherwise, everything else is going fine. I can see so many Oh my goodness. Okay, we’re going to have to move these pests. Wow, look at that. Oh, that’s crazy. Okay, they all have to bugger off off my plant. Wow, look at that. Okay, that is the problem. Oh, look. We got some figs. Yeah, that is the problem with not checking your garden because all of a sudden they’re just going to take over. Just going to remove those. They’re going to go over the fence. I know they’ll fly straight back, but hey, maybe one will get lost. Who knows? Anyway, just an update on potentially what’s going to happen. Old corn is doing well. There it is in there. I’ll do another update on that. My potatoes got a little bit destroyed in the storm, but they’re perking up again, so it’s all good. Yeah, lowquats are going crazy huge. Obviously need to get them out of those tiny little pots. So, I think the next thing is, yeah, sort out the backyard and get everything out of pots and then make this area a little bit more user friendly. 1. My Davidson plum are quite a few years old now and about 3 metres high, they grow insane about of fruit up the trunk and looks good. Very tart to eat.

You really need to kill those pest stink bugs Paul they will wreck your citrus and they look disgusting too. The world won’t collapse I promise and you are helping the tree to live a healthy life 😂.. At least spray them with a dense soapy solution.

  2. Lovely garden 😍! I was browsing YouTube looking for motivation and inspiration. I started my gardening journey around September (both regular and hydroponic) still so many things to learn 😊!
I saw u have a mango tree so i have question about my mango seed — it has just one leaf and is still growing in a water cup. When is the right time to transfer it to soil?
