I wanted to ask, which I think is also seen on this one compared to your other posts today, do you know if species have a set amount of leaves that they can support per rosette? I have read it a few times that description say the amount of leaves but I wasnt quite sure if it just to say that the individual that was first described had it or if it is a common occurrence on said species.
It came to mind because I think I have seen some examples of plants losing their lower leaves even though no sign of overwatering or rotting was seen on the stem or leaves and there wasnt any new growth, be it flowers or offsets, on them either. It just looked like it was reabsorbing the lower leaves for the sake of it.
