Just moved into a new build and the garden is on top of a hill and the garden itself is slightly sloped and uneven, is it possible to get it levelled out and more flat as it’s hard to do much with it as the slope restrict us.

The pictures shown aren’t the best at showing it but it slopes down towards the fence and other parts uneven leading towards it, if it’s possible how expensive could be it for this?

  1. Personally I think it’s pretty good as you’ve probably got classic new build “soil” (clay and rubble with an inch of topsoil) and it’ll nicely run off down to that pond, so you’ll avoid the bog that most of us deal with.

It’s hard to tell from your photos, but it looks like properly leveling that would be a bit of a mission, as you’ll need a solid retaining wall or gabion around it. If it’s the bumps in the lawn that bother you, you can easily top dress in Spring and reduce that.
