I just bought this pothos and I was wondering if I should leave it in this pot for a while or if it would be better to put it in an actual pot now?

Report it! To the plant authorities for it’s gorgeous marbling. Happy cake day!

I’d repot it to get it out of the crap soil mix from big box stores and get some real nutrient-rich stuff in there.

I leave all my plants in plastic nursery pots. If I feel fancy, I might place the plastic pot in a nice ceramic pot.

I got it from a plant breeder on Facebook marketplace btw so it’s not from a big store

I repot all my new plants no matter the time of year or season. I don’t even acclimate to my environment. Plants are resilient as long as they’re healthy and thriving. I recently purchased a birds nest sansevieria that was in a glass vase with zero drainage. She must have just watered it because when I tipped it over, so much water dripped out! I don’t know how it survived and was so healthy in such a waterlogged environment. I immediately dumped it out and repotted in a terracotta planter with succulent mix and have not watered it yet.. That was 3 weeks ago and its doing just fine. I say, go with your gut.
