Scots have been advised to check their garden sheds in the search for a missing man who vanished two days ago. Peter Wilson, 60, was reported missing on Saturday, November 29.
He was last seen at around 9.15pm on Seaforth Street in Fraserburgh heading south in the direction of The Links. When last seen, Peter was wearing blue jeans, a brown jumper with white stripes, a navy jacket with white fleece lining and a black woolly hat.
Police Scotland have asked that residents check their gardens and outbuildings as concern grows for Peter, who has been described as 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build with short brown hair and wears glasses.

Sergeant Richard Barnwell said: “This is out of character for Peter, and concerns are growing for his welfare.
“I am asking that anyone who knows where Peter may be or who has seen someone matching his description contact local officers.
“I’d also ask that those living locally check their gardens and outbuildings.”

A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Officers are appealing for the help of the public to trace Peter Wilson, 60, who has been reported missing from Fraserburgh.
“Peter was last seen around 9.15pm on Saturday, 29 November, 2025 on Seaforth Street. He was heading south in the direction of The Links.
“He is described as 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build with short brown hair and wears glasses. When last seen, Peter was wearing blue jeans, a brown jumper with white stripes, a navy jacket with white fleece lining and a black woolly hat.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3009 of 30 November, 2025.”
