What’s going on everyone? Welcome back. Today we’re in Youngsville, North Carolina for the Triangle Parade of Homes and we’re getting ready to check out another beautiful home from Ken Harvey Homes. This one has got some surprises in it. So, let me turn you around. I’ll tell you all about it. All right, y’all. Say hello to the Engle from Ken Harvey Homes. If you are a fan of ultramodern homes, uh this one is really nice. It’s got some cool features just as soon as you walk in. And the exterior just kind of incorporates some fun things, too. Uh, so you’ve got some lap siding up top, some vertical siding. Uh, you have this beautiful covered front porch, and then you just have all of this stack stone as well, which just kind of give it some interesting texture. Now, inside of this home, you are going to find four bedrooms, six bathrooms. It does have a threecar garage over here to the leftand side of the home. And all of this is sitting inside of 3,490 square ft. Oh man, y’all, I love these fall decorations. We’ve been seeing them throughout the parade and uh it’s just getting me in the spirit right now. If you are interested in this home, uh it is listed for $1,250,000. But with that, let’s get inside and see what all we can find. All right, here we go. So, this is the view that you’re greeted with just as soon as you walk in. We get to see yet another one of these beautiful indoor gardens. Love that. I just think it looks so neat. But, uh, anyway, before we dive into everything, let me go and turn you around real quick and show off this entryway. So, you have this beautiful staircase going up to the second floor. you have this nice slatted kind of modern looking uh front door looking out uh onto that kind of front covered patio space. And then uh we will go ahead and dive in to it. So to the left hand side, just as soon as you walk in, you do have a set of French doors that open up into your office space. Obviously, we’ve got the parade going on, right? So, you’ve got a few things kind of hiding it, but you can kind of see the other door right here. Anyway, nice and spacious office. You’ve got these three windows back behind us. I’ll turn you around in just a second uh so you can see it, but they are providing tons of natural light. We’ll get over here on this side. Now, as we are walking through this home, let me know what you like, what you might want to change or rearrange if this home was to be yours. Love hearing that stuff down in the comments. I mean, this is obviously looking at the home, it’s got like this kind of modern uh exterior feel to it, but you come inside and while there’s still elements of like that modernity kind of brought inside, uh at the same time, it’s a very nice kind of compact floor plan that really just feels cozy, right? It’s not cold. It’s not I like space, but at the same time, this one isn’t uh so spacious that it feels like you’re never going to interact with anybody else in the home. You know what I mean? So, from that aspect, I think it’s really nice. Anyway, you have this beautiful gas fireplace tile going all the way up to the ceiling, and then you have this single built-in right next to that, kind of raised up a little bit. And then on the opposite side, uh you do have this wet bar. So you’ve got the mini fridge, your prep sink, some open shelves, and then on either end of that, you’ve got some nice glass pane cabinets. Now, before we dive into that kitchen and dining room space, let’s swing over here. And this is where you are going to find the master bedroom. So it sits back towards the back of the house. Got like a fun kind of airplane propeller ceiling fan, nice and spacious. And then you have like this modern barn door with like the frosted glass uh that separates the bedroom from the en suite. So, you got the water closet and then the double vanities look like the raised vessel sinks. Good bit of elbow room in between the two. And then back behind us, we have been seeing tons and tons of uh wet rooms, which I love. I’m not mad about that at all. Um, but just on this North Carolina trip this this year, there’s only been a couple where it’s like a separation between the tub and the shower. But I I like the wet rooms mostly cuz I just envision like wine nights or something. You know what I mean? Like you’re sitting at the spot. It’s almost like a jacuzzi. You can just let this thing have like an infinity edge and run over, right? And uh you’re not you don’t have to worry about getting the whole I don’t know though. It’s been It’s been years even since I’ve been into a jacuzzi, honestly. Anyway, all the way in the back come into the master closet. Plenty of built-ins. And then we will hop on over to the other side of the house and get into this kitchen space. Now, we didn’t go outside yet because you can also access this back patio space uh from the dining room, which is kind of where we’ll we’ll get into it. Uh but anyway, looks like is this storage? Oh, yeah. Push to open storage on the front side of the island. And that goes all the way down. And then plenty of seating space. Got some nice pennent lights hanging out over the top of the island. And then on this side, looks like you’ve got uh one of these is a panelized dishwasher and the other one is going to be your trash can drawer. You’ve got the undermount sink with all the autramons. Little drying rack. What are these things for? Lemons and limes. Probably not. Maybe that’s where you’re going to put like your your scraps or something. I’m not sure. I’ve never used one of them before. If let me know if you’ve had one of these or you utilize one of those, let me know what it is. But uh anyway, this is your view back out into the living room as well as your view into the dining room. And then along the back side, you’ve got tons of cabinets going all the way up to the ceiling. Uh you have your gas range with the double ovens and uh looks like cafe appliances. And then on either side, let’s see, you got a spice rack on this side and your utensil drawer on this side. Oh man, I didn’t even try. I didn’t know that. So, there’s a pantry. No, that’s the laundry room. Oh my goodness. I completely missed it, y’all. That got me. Look at that. Look how seamless that is. I thought that that was just going to be a I mean, it doesn’t look seamless cuz I closed it the wrong way, but Oh, cool. Love it. Anyway, check this out. So, you’ve got a hidden pantry. Got the built-in microwave in here. This is what happens when you don’t look at the floor plans, right? I know some of y’all get on to me for not preparing, but that is the fun of doing all of this, right? I’m not here to sell you the home. I’m just here to share it with you, right? And uh when I find fun stuff like this, and I know a lot of people do the hidden pantries, but at the same time, sometimes it just catches you off guard. You know what I mean? Anyway, uh where are we at? Let’s catch this real quick. Uh, so you’ve got on the far wall your refrigerator and freezer. Got some slide outs that on both sides. Yep. Very cool. And then just off of that. Anyway, now that it’s closed all the way, look, it just other than like the quarter round kind of giving it away a little bit. if you’re not paying attention. But, uh, into the mud room. So, you’ve got this nice tree, floating bench, and then to one side you have the laundry room, so washerdryer hookups, and then of course your wash basin. And then to the opposite side, this is your garage door. So out here you’ve got a single stall as well as a double stall. Start over here with the double stall and just kind of peruse around and see what we see. You got the EV hookup. And then over on the single side, I already see the water heater. You’ve got access out into your sideyard and then the electric panel. And then on the opposite side of the kitchen, you’ve already seen the dining room a little bit, but uh views out onto your backyard. Nice big lot. Got the vated ceiling in here. We’ll go ahead and step out onto the back patio. Looks like it is screened in. That’s fun. And these look like stationary screens. So, we got an outdoor fireplace. Then you got the door leading out onto this kind of back patio space. So, you put the grill back here, little fire pit, something like that. Well, that’s probably too close to the house, but you know what I mean. You can at least get the grill back there. And then this home, I mean, it just keeps going. Just got stuff everywhere. Just off of the dining room and the kitchen, you got this little hallway, a coat closet or just a storage closet. And then opposite that is a powder room. What I love about this is that the powder room is away from the master bedroom. We’ve been seeing that a lot lately where the powder room is like really close uh to the master bedroom. But if this would be like a guest room, right, then you have all of the guest facilities essentially over in one place. But uh this would be the first of the secondary bedrooms. And then it does have its own on suite. So you got the single vanity toilet and then this one’s got a standalone shower, little bench towards the back. the linen closet and then into its actual closet. Then you also have the water man in here as well. All right. And then from here we’ll go ahead and work our way upstairs. I guess that counts, right? It’s just kind of a an itty bitty closet. But uh then just off of that, working your way down the hallway, you’ve got some more French doors, couple little stairs up into this common space. Actually, you know what? I don’t think that that was a bedroom. It could be a bedroom, I guess. Uh but we already had two bedrooms downstairs, and then there are two more bedrooms to get into. Uh so that would make that that other one could be something else. So, you’ve got a mini fridge, your prep sink over here at this black bar. So, now if you rewind from this point, right, go back to that room and uh what would you use it as? Little kids playroom, maybe uh craft room, hobby room, right? It could be any one of those things. I guess they kind of gave it away because there’s no carpet in there. And all of the bedrooms with the exception obviously of the two downstairs, but the two up here actually have carpet and all of the bedrooms up here have their own ones. So then essentially I guess that this would be bedroom number three. That’s what happens when I just get to yammer it, I guess. Then into its on suite. It’s got the single vanity toilet and then it’s got shower and tub. Kind of a low profile tub. Tile going all the way up to the ceiling. And then its closet sitting up towards the front of the house. Another powder room with pedestal vanity and a toilet. The linen closet at the end of the hall. And then into bedroom number four. and it’s on suite. All righty.
