This white hairy organism was not there yesterday, and today it’s about 3” in diameter. This is a 20g terrarium with mosses and ferns. I added springtails and isopods on Thursday. It’s only been set up for about a week and a half. Can anyone educate me on what this is, whether it is harmful or helpful, and how to support or eliminate it as appropriate?

Looks like hairy shit mould, scientifically known as Phycomyces blakesleeanus.
Typically grows on shit.
