I thought I’d share one of my favorite places in Gainesville – Kanapaha Botanical Gardens!

While I didn’t get a chance to go this time around while in Gainesville, I did go last summer and got to see the Giant Victoria Lilies that can only be seen in late summer. Summer is my favorite time to visit this place and if you find yourself making plans to visit Gainesville, make sure to check this awesome place out.

Kanapaha not only has the cool giant lilies during the summer, but this beautiful botanical garden also has the largest public display of bamboos and the largest herb garden in Southeast.
