Hi all, I have this airplant and I can’t figure out how to help it thrive (I also don’t know what kind it is). I sprayed it so you can see the colors better, the top half is all brown and the bottom half is green.
The other two on the top left are thriving and have grown a good bit since I got them, but this long one is just slowly getting browner. I usually have them hanging in front of a courtyard window that does not get direct sun, and I do a weekly 30 minute soak and a quick spray every other/every 3 days. I live in Southern California so it is fairly warm and dry year round.
Any advice or ideas are much appreciated! Thank you!! 😊

Tillandsia usneoides (aka spanish moss)
Mist it daily, its amongst the least drought tolerant airplants ime.
Its not a single long plant, but rather chains of tiny individual airplants each usually with 3 leaves and an offshoot.
The oldest plants at the start of a chain naturally die over time.
