I've got an 8ft snow bucket that it pushes well but I'm tired of it digging into the gravel/grass when I move snow.

Think I can get by bumping up to 10ft wide pusher or will it be too much?

I’d go with 8 ft. Have u tried edge tamers for your bucket?

  4. Did you pack your first snow on your driveway/gravel? Everything works better if there’s a base layer packed into the gravel.
Have you considered a blade with runners/shoes? The shoes keep the blade off the ground an inch or so. Less digging. I have a winged snow blade that folds open to 10’ (normally i keep the wings in for better snow control).
I guess box pusher vs blade is an argument determined by layout.
Roads and open areas, a blade is very fast and efficient.
Tight quarters with only one exit, blade or bucket.

I think I’d go with the 8 depending on your average snowfall. Your probably gonna run out of equipment weight and traction with anything bigger
