I’m blown away by the growth this tree made in one season from having planted the seed in soil on April 6th to now over 15 feet tall (I need to measure). It’s now covered in pods I intend to harvest and blend to make a green smoothie powder with. It will be interesting to see what winter has in store for her.. I’m thinking of rolling the dice to let her brave the elements this year as an experiment.. as it was an experiment planting the seeds to begin with. They are clearly insanely fast growing and highly drought tolerant, so winter is the next test.

Mine would come back from the roots and acted like a root hardy perennial. They were late to re-sprout (sometime in April) for me.

The trunk size is incredible from what I’ve seen around here. Major credit to you.
