TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Botanic Garden kicked off their holiday season with the annual Garden of Lights.
From 5 to 9 p.m. select nights through December 28th, except for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, you cab walk through the colorful lights, make s’mores over fire puts and enjoy holiday jazz music on Sundays.
Mr. and Mrs. Claus will also be visiting every night to take pictures with event goers.
Lori Hudson, Director of Communications with Tulsa Botanic Gardens, says they love seeing families come out to see the lights every year.
“Everybody on our staff and volunteers help us to get ready for this event, so there’s so much work that goes into it for so long. We’re really excited to kick it off and see the public come in and really see those families enjoying the evening and maybe for the first time, but we are seeing families that are starting to make this their tradition.” says Hudson.
Hudson recommends getting time entry tickets in advance because popular nights and times sell out fast.
Tickets are $22 for ages 16 and up. $10 for ages 3 to 15. Children 2 and under get in free.
