A few weeks ago I posted asking for flowers for my recently deceased pet. He meant the world to me and what may seem overboard gave me a lot of peace and comfort knowing he will always have a nice resting spot. I chose to do faux flowers and plants for the rock garden and plan to do wildflowers and such surrounding the area for him. I wanted him to at the very least always have the rock garden in case my gardening skills turn out to be terrible.
Thanks for all the suggestions which will be used for the surrounding area.

Very lovely. I know that grief and wish to honor our loved pets. You’ve done well. Try your hand at a few live plants. You may be surprised at how well they do 🙏🏼♥️
This is beautiful.
Your dog is beautiful. May their memory be honored in your beautiful garden. I pray for the spiders to weave you beautiful webs, the butterflies to provide you beautiful dances, and the plants to bloom in full vibrant color.
Outside of faux plants, you can add a butterfly/bee water dish, some frog holes (little clay pots where frogs can safely live), and hummingbird feeders. All beautiful, natural ways you can have a “garden” with no green thumb.
May the hobby bring joy.
May he/she rest in peace😌❤️
It’s beautiful! I grow stuff on my dogs’ graves, and it’s really cathartic to talk to them as I work on the plants I grow there. So I definitely encourage growing the wildflowers :). Though I think it’s quite smart to do the faux stuff, so your dog has a nice spot either way!
Looks beautiful!
