Why is mixing your edible and ornamental plants together beneficial?
đȘŽ well, it looks gorgeous. There are so many beautiful, edible plants that shouldnât be relegated to forgotten back corners but celebrated front and center.
đž Attract pollinators! Increase your fruit production by mixing flowers and edibles together to get the maximum pollination.
đŒ Companion planting – there are many happy relationships built underground in a diverse ecosystem. These plants can help each other like how the Peach tree provides shade for the lettuce in the hot summer months extending your salad season.
đȘŽ control what you put in your soil and your body – growing your own food means you can control what fertilizers and pest control methods you want.
đForaging fun – there is something magical about finding your own snacks out in the garden like lifting strawberry leaves in search for delicious, sweet berries. Itâs something the whole family can enjoy.

Please note: you will only need to plant that dill once. And you'd better be certain it's a place you want it to come back in forever. đ
