Hello all, this tree was much smaller when I bought the home 15 years ago. I have finally been able to pour a pad but it put the focus on the tree. I’m not even sure the type of tree 🌲 but I see it’s leaning away from the powerlines… the bark has broken and I know that’s a terrible sign… I’m going to trim it up and cut away from the house. Is this a lost cause or can this be saved. Thanks for your help.

It’s the wrong kind of tree to have next to power lines. The power company will come through eventually and hack this thing up

I don’t like removing trees that don’t need it. But this is like a child growing up in a terrible home. The concrete and the power lines are not allowing this tree to become what it could. It’s environment is hindering it’s potential.
