Currently in an experiment of propagating Alocasia Polly corms via 3 methods – caps half filled with water, perlite and soil (alocasia-specific mix) in an airtight glass container.

Wondering when and where to should I remove the corm in the cap half filled with water, as it has formed some roots and started sprouting and seems like the cap is a bit tight? Welp, what’s the next step?

The one in perlite has so far advanced the most and is developing nicely.

The second one in the cap, that hasn’t sprouted yet, has initially been in perlite, been transferred to a cap 10 days ago, but still no movement.

The one in the soil – no movement.
