We received this tree from tree folks this week, and it is supposed to be and is labeled Monterrey Oak. However, when I compare the leaves to the entry on wildflower.org the leaves look nothing like the examples.

I just want to confirm before I plant. I was impressed with tree folks so far, so I hope this is what they say it is.

This indeed is a Monterrey oak, hence the epithet polymorpha or taking multiple shapes. It may look a but more pronounced than in ground specimens due to use of synthetic fertilizers and peat moss.
