Laura: "No sense stressing about it". That's a good motto for many things in life, but when you said that, it triggered a question. Have you always approached gardening with that thought? How has your approach to gardening changed over time? Are you more relaxed about things now vs when you first started?
You may consider having the hollyhock moved as well. That plant is TOUGH. If your new design isn't incorporating cottage style, just a thought
Wait… was that an indoor white extension cord Laura is using outside?? Is that ok to do?😮
The rosehips you were looking at, by the new concrete bays could maybe be moved when you move the other trees? When will the rest of the concrete blocks arrive?
The mulch/compost area is such a great idea!
Aaron is a 5 star neighbor saying no trees that drop leaves next to the neighbors house. Thank you!! Love your videos. Thank you for sharing your property, knowledge and life. ❤
I love garland swagged also, your home suits your garland, beautiful. Your blue spruce will look awesome at your entry. Highlight of my day watching your videos. Happy Belated Thanksgiving 🦃
I thought they were using a stall in the barn for some of the mulch and compost items, because to be honest, the cement barriers are ugly. I just don’t get why you would want that on your property. I usually really like what they do to their property, but not this time. 🤷🏼♀️
Looking forward in seeing all the trees go in! Samantha and the chickens are so cute. Those planters look amazing!
Samantha in the background feeding her chickens touched my heart, so sweet. Your arrangements always look great! I have roses in pots my garage, zone 6b southern Ontario Ca., should I give them water this winter, suppose to be a very cold winter. One is a Julia Child, which I love.
A 4 hrs on your timers with sunsets at 4:30pm they go off about 8:30 people driving around looking at lights get to enjoy them much 😢 mine go from dust to dawn but even if you set them 6 hrs more people could enjoy them from the street more. Just a thought. Merry Christmas 🎅🏼 🎄 🤶🏼
Here in Ohio zone 6 it’s 24 degrees and snow predicted
I’m already so sick of winter, ready for spring
Oh, how wonderful to have so many beautiful trees coming in and the ability to shift others. So nice of you to consider your neighbors regarding the leaves.
You always have such lovely containers, thanks for sharing.
I agree with Aaron, about the mulch containments but I think a dark stain rather than paint. It would have a nicer look.
I ran out of breathe trying to help them set those blocks 😂
The urns arrangement is gorgeous! Love the garlands too! Those cement blocks will be a game changer! I am waiting for the Malad trees 😍.
Have a blessed day!❣️
Ps.Love the kids and the chickens are so cute ❤
Watching those 🐓🐓🐓 run is THE cutest thing ever!! 😂😄
Love the pots, very festive 🎄☃️
I know you are set to have a walking path put in, but there is something to be said about not having it. We loved going to my aunt and uncles farm in western Nebraska where we, along with many cousins, would zig zag though the trees. No path was needed. It was just a place that made us explore all the more.
I’m so excited for more big trees 😊so pleased you only brought 1 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Bless you both looked chilled at the end , but I really appreciate seeing the concrete areas , I love big changes instant gratification. The area really look nice and organised 😊.
Please please pretty please will you do some drone shots 🤗.
Take care xx xx xx
poor aaron, he tries really hard, and she's like "he just says that so I get the project done"
Aaron: "I love it SO MUCH".😅😅🤣🤣😂😂
You're lucky with your beautiful weather. We just got done with high winds the last 2 days and now we're under a Winter Storm Warning for tomorrow for 6-10 inches or more of snow in SE Wisconsin.
Have Aaron take a pic and text it up to you so you can see what he sees!
It's so beautiful Laura and Aaron…
🤶 🎄 🎅 🎄
❤❤❤❤
🙋
The containers are fabulous, you are a very good instructor! Loving those chickens♥️
Grateful ❤️. At that point, I was $87,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement. Fast forward just two years-l'm now completely debt-free with a net worth of over $3M. That may not sound like a huge number to some, but to me, it's something I'm incredibly proud of. I'm currently fast-tracking my wealth-building journey, already investing $550,000 and owing absolutely nothing to anyone. Since I joined this channel three year ago, my mindset and financial habits have transformed. It's a good feeling. May God continue to bless you…
Love your videos so much, find myself not wanting them to end 😁and always look forward to the next one ❤
Eu também tenho um sítio tão grande quanto o seu , gostaria de ser assim também, tá tudo muito lindo 😍
Are you going to have any shade trees for the horses? Even though they could go in the barn ours loved the shade trees. I look forward to your videos every morning and I get such inspiration from you! Thank you thank you!
Laura, the big concrete blocks have many purposes. We always call them “sea anchors “ and we use them at the lake to drop and anchor the corners of our dock to keep it in place. Still didn’t always keep it from moving! lol we also buried some and welded our catwalk to it and used them as a sea wall to help stop erosion. 😊😊
Question – are gutter guards okay in your area? I popped them in the gutters just on one end of my house due to a huge pin oak that makes a mess every spring and fall, and it’s REALLY helped! Instead of having to clean them out, every now and then I’ll use a step ladder and leaf blower to blow off any little piles that the wind hasn’t taken care of. This esp helps since I’ve buried all the gutters in the front and don’t have to worry about anything clogging under ground. Anyway, you could pop guards in just that trouble spot – absolutely worth it IMO!
The swags look amazing as usual – can’t wait to see how you’ve done all the lights this year! ❤
23:00 🤣yep
Another beautiful fun day! So exciting to see everything come together. Great job Laura and Aaron❣️🌲🎄
😂❤
yeah plant more tree
Laura your neighbors might not want to smell horse poo
Will you still let chickens out when there's snow on the ground?
I like when aaron and laura talk together encouraging
Like the festive 36:40 arrangements for the little ironwood containers!
At about 43:30, while you were doing the urn arrangements, and Samantha was giving out chicken treats, did I hear a Robin? Seems odd to still have robins around there at almost December! What does Benjamin think about that?
The urns arrangements and the swags and greens look beautiful and festive! Can’t wait to see those big trees arrive!
