Snake plant? I think you could just put it in a pot! (dirt). But I also think it would root well in water. I’ve propagated several from the parent plant, always directly in dirt, but they had a little more roots than that.

You could do either one. But for water I would change the water weekly if you choose to do water I’ve just had more experience with water propagation

I water rooted mine. It worked well. No hormone required.

I don’t believe it is a snake plant… it looks like it does have a couple little roots already? I took it off this plant pictured.🌱
