Sophie Street is an independent women’s fashion retailer, which opened its new unit in Welwyn Garden City’s much-loved shopping centre on Friday, November 21.

According to the Howard Centre team, the new shop, located in units eight and nine, is “already proving popular with customers”.

This is Sophie Street’s second store – the first, in Basingstoke, Hampshire, opened just last month.
The business is hoping its presence in Welwyn Garden City will support the company to grow further.
A spokesperson for the Howard Centre said: “We hope this will add an additional reason to visit the centre and shop in Sophie Street!”
