Pink brandywine, Rutgers, beefsteak, we have heard of them. But what about some more unique names? In this new game I try to guess if the tomato names are real or fake.

  1. Nice idea. If you do this type of thing again, would you make the photos of the item(s) bigger so we can see them up close? Thanks, ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  2. I wonderโ€ฆwhen one cuts open a Hippie Zebra tomato, does it smell like skunk? ๐Ÿฆจ ๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿ˜‚

  3. My real-time guesses:
    Paisley tiger…fake
    AMC…fake? X
    Shell Cottage…fake
    Charlie Scott's…real
    Green Pear…real
    Alice Jasper…real? X
    London Fog….real? X
    Croatia…real?
    Smokey Mountain…real
    Hippie Zebra…fake? X (buzzer)

    Love the artwork!

  4. The good thing with this game is that the fake names can give you name ideas for new varieties you want to create in the future. So not only this is funny but will provide a solution for you.

  5. This game is a great idea. So many weird and wonderful tomato names.
The only one I knew was Charlie Scott's, maybe because I live in Australia which is so connected to NZ.
As for NZ being peaceful and not involved in wars. You never heard of the ANZACs? Gallipoli, WW2, just about every major conflict I think.
Anyway, back to the garden. This could be a huge series. Aren't there something like 10,000 tomato varieties?

  6. Groovy vibes, man keep those cosmic videos flowing! Iโ€™m really digginโ€™ the variety of the content. Keep on experimenting, trying new trips and spreading the good energy. Peace and creativity always. โ˜ฎ๐ŸŒˆ

  7. Hahahaha that was fun. Laughed out loud at Luke's self-burn at the end about high school ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I loved this game but if you do it again, it would be fun to put a little clue either in the name or description so even if he/we haven't heard of the tomato, we might be able to catch a mistake leading to a Fake choice!

  8. Yes. We need more gardening related game shows. And for some really cool tomato names, check out Wild Boar Farms. Crazy beautiful tomatoes with groovy names.

  9. Don't feel bad Luke! There are thousands of tomato varieties and one can't be expected to know them all! But this was a cool concept for videos

  10. Ah Luke. Well done with your attempts naming tomatoes. Pretty sure you said there's somewhere in the region 20,000 varieties.

I was going to give a brief history of New Zealand but I thought better of it. Yes we kiwis, and the Australians, were part of the British commonwealth before we each became independent and we were both very involved in both of the World Wars.

Would've loved to seen the weather outside. We had a 90 degree spring day with plenty of wind!
