My dad lives in a more quiet neighborhood and with that there’s many coyotes in the area. I don’t live with him (I visit) but if I did I’d avoid my cat going out at all costs, but he insists that “it’s fine”. Since he stays in an apartment complex we can’t add fencing or anything like that, but if anyone has any suggestions, advice or just ideas of things I could do to keep my cat safe please let me know. I’ve been thinking about reaching out to the landlord for my dad to see if it’s possible to add more lights in the area but I’m not sure if they’d be okay with that. I also want to add that my dad lets him out around 7 AM and he’s inside by 4 PM LATEST but he loves running out the door which is why I fear for him. Along with this post I uploaded a video of the coyotes outside so you could hopefully get a glimpse of what the situation is like. Anything is appreciated thank you🩷
