Under the guidance of Alan Holland from TWIGS Community Gardens, the team braved the wet weather to complete the Autumn pruning of the Apple Orchard, preparing it for healthy spring growth.
A spokesperson for South Swindon Parish Council said the team feel accomplished with the work done.
The council expressed gratitude to Mr Holland and all the volunteers who participated.

A spokesperson said: “The workshop was hosted by Alan Holland from TWIGS Community Gardens, who shared his wealth of knowledge and experience with the team.
“Thank you to Alan and all of the volunteers who showed up despite the very wet weather on Saturday morning.”
The TWIGS gardens offer a unique space in Swindon, promoting community interaction and mental well-being through horticultural therapy.
