Morning glory species, probably *Ipomoea cairica*, Cairo morning glory

Morning glory! Good thing you like it, it’s an incredibly agressive grower and almost invasive once it’s in your yard.

if you love those flowers, just wait 5 minutes and the whole wall will be covered in them lol

Morning glories! Make sure to trim regularly if you want to keep it, or else it will grow super fast and choke out other plants

They’re beautiful, but they’ll take over everywhere if you’re not careful!

My grandfather planted some along the barn about 30 years ago….. for the last 10 we have been trying to kill them, it’s impossible!!

I planted a variety named Grandpa Ott 25 years ago, not since and still need to weed out seedlings. Heavenly Blue is not not AS bad. Moon flowers are the way to go here in 7a as the seed pods do not ripen before frost plus you get the nighttime scent.

  8. I have been pulling morning glory for 11 years now. They pop up suddenly, and grow like 20 feet in one day.

Strange leaf for a morning glory, almost looks like poison ivy

Will they outcompete English Ivy or will I end up with a lot of both?

They seem to grow from the roof?

Neighbor may want to check why there is soil on the roof and clean that up before it cause problem

I have a flat roof, and my neighbor told me I needed to maybe check it out.
    I had a mini-forest installing itself….

Morning Glory. Very, very invasive. You don’t want none, Dewey.

Been thinking of having these climbing an archway next year….

    Maybe not.

I live in Sweden however where we’re at minus degrees for a good 5 months of the year, enough to keep them controlled?

They look like Morning Glory. They come in different colors.

Careful taking it off too, seeds will fly everywhere!

The answer is always “morning glory.”

As a Queenslander the sight of this is triggering my PTSD

Morning glory! I have this growing in my backyard from my neighbors house. It’s spread across a few of the neighbors here but we don’t mind them since it attracts some really pretty pollinators and provides some cover for smaller animals too.
