Hi Reddit

I wanted to share with you my little slice of paradise and sanity in a crazy city. I am blessed to live in a space with a habitable rooftop with a hose hookup and after a few years have turned it into something I am proud of. I breed hot peppers, grow tomatoes, beans, watermelons, and for the first time this year, cannabis.

I also document everything on 35mm. Here are a handful of photos that showcase the different plants I grew this past summer as well as the view.

I did a free seed giveaway on the hot peppers reddit community and ended up sending over 2200 seeds to 43 states.

I thought some of you may enjoy a setting and backdrop much different than I'm sure many of you have. I envy your air!

16,000km away in Newcastle Australia, everytime i hear Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx etc, i want to know the suburb too. Which suburb in those boroughs? Is this suburb called Downtown? I’ve looked it up and i think it is?

I think your garden is bigger than some of the apartments for rent in that city!!!

If you dont mind me asking, what’s your plant count with harvestable ? Or do you just pick one at a time and then move to another.

Very impressive setup. Wish I could partake

The city air probably boosts the growth in your awesome little garden. How awesome it is. Everyone should have one

This is amazing. I love the little table you have in the middle of your garden. A nice place to decompress.

How has the frost not affected your plants yet? We’ve had some days below freezing this month?

How do you keep people from stealing your “veggies “?

As someone who used to live there, this is top tier levels of adaptation and use of space! Magical garden on the rooftop! Some of my greatest smoke sessions were always on a rooftop in nyc! Cheers!
