Located at the front of Prenton Park beside the Johnny King statue, the garden is intended to become “a place of reflection, connection, and treasured memories for all who visit”.
A spokesperson for Tranmere said: “For many, football is woven into the significant moments of life. It brings families together, creates lasting bonds, and provides a sense of belonging that endures through generations.
“The Memorial Garden is to celebrate that connection, offering supporters a heartfelt way to honour those who shared a love for the Rovers.
“In addition to ash scattering, memorial plaques are also available for anyone wishing to create a personal and lasting tribute.
“These plaques cost £60 and may be dedicated to any supporter, whether or not ashes have been scattered in the garden.
They offer a touching and permanent way to remember a lifelong fan, a family member, or someone who simply held the club close to their heart.
“By choosing a memorial plaque, you not only honour a life but also help shape the living history of Tranmere Rovers Football Club. Keep their memory close. Keep their story alive.”
