Fall into drain

The height of the sump is slightly higher than the surrounding ground level and i dont want water to pool against the building. However as shown the cement weatherboard goes almost to ground level, the slab is in the shadowed area. If I put soil to increase the ground height to drain into the sump, am I going to cause issues with the ground being against the boards and higher than the slab? *australia btw
