Police have arrested a man after seizing cannabis from a Dover Gardens address.

On Friday 31 October, Southern District Volume Crime Section police attended an address in Dover Gardens and conducted a search.

Police located 16 cannabis plants, 3.5 kilograms of dried cannabis and a significant amount of prescribed hydroponic equipment.

A 61-year-old man was present at the address and arrested and charged with traffic in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug, cultivate cannabis and possess prescribed equipment.

He was bailed to appear at Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday 5 January.
