All pines are conifers and all cedars are conifers. Many folks tend to use the term pine in place of conifer. Cedars are not pines and pines are not cedars.

As others have pointed out, there’s no such thing as a cedar pine. The only thing I can tell you with any certainty is that the black plastic at the base of the tree needs to be pulled away from the base of the tree…preferably, out of the bed altogether, but at least away from the trunk.

As others have pointed out, there’s no such thing as a cedar pine. The only thing I can tell you with any certainty is that the black plastic at the base of the tree needs to be pulled away from the base of the tree…preferably, out of the bed altogether, but at least away from the trunk.
