In Episode 5 of the backyard, Whitley Green highlights his lily’s! The audience rarely gets to see them due to their location and when we do, they’re no longer blooming. Our lawn hero adds tiki torches to the side of the house, but soon realizes it wasn’t a good idea. Concerned about the spread of weeds, he adds landscape fabric near the patio furniture. Leave your comments in the comment section. Light work today. Light work. I’m going to trim the rose bushes. Then I’ll add landscape fabric to this section. Want to stop those weeds. Then I’ll put another landscape edger down. And what I’ll do is push those rocks to the side in order to do that. What do you think about the new lounger? What about the tiki torch? Got one that’ll match it. Oh yeah, no fountain. The fountain is gone. I’m disappointed. That’s that. Trim it complete. One thing about rose bushes, they always get new shoots, especially if they’re healthy. And this one has been around for a long time. I’m going to remove the tiki torches from over here. Don’t think it’s a good idea. It’ll be just my luck. Don’t want to burn down the house. Management requested this, but it won’t be this one. This one is too nice. Oh no, not this one. This is all management deserved. How about beonas in place of those tiki torches? Think this is a better fit. And beonas do well in the shade. I don’t know what I was thinking. Just something simple. Sometimes the simplest things are the best things to do. Time to add the landscape edger. I’ve been out here for a while. So, last night I decided to go in a different direction. Yeah, I know. Working against myself, but it’s all for a purpose. Getting frustrated. It’s hot. Got a long way to go, but I’m sure I’ll reach to go. Let’s get the tape measure out and figure this thing out. Trying to avoid what happened on the other side. I think I used too many anchors which caused that landscape edger to wrinkle up if you know what I mean. So I use the tape measure and measure each one a foot apart. Let’s check on the beonas. I want to show off the liies too. You don’t get to see them often. Landscape fabric is down. Death to weeds. They are a menace to grain society. I like this. This is a great match. As far as the landscape edger, I figured something out. It’s hot, guys. It is unbearable.
