A child’s playground featuring timber towers could form part of a revamped public garden in North East Lincolnshire.
Pier Gardens in Cleethorpes will see investement as part of a wider £18.4m regeneration project in the seaside town.
Plans submitted to North East Lincolnshire Council (NELC) show the play structures would have connecting bridges, chain paths and multiple levels.
The designer WSP UK Limited wrote in the application: “The existing site, currently occupied by a disused crazy golf course with poor-quality paving and seating, will be transformed by the proposed play structure.”
