With this simple technique, you can quickly get seedlings of various plants yourself. Learn something new about rooting branches. Do you want to have rosemary, lavender, figs, grapevines, lemons, tomatoes, and many other plants? Watch this simple way for almost every branch to grow roots. I will cut a few rosemary branches. As many as I need new plants. Healthy cuttings are 20-30 cm long. I will clean the lower 10 cm of the cuttings from leaves, that is, pluck the needles. I want to get roots on that part. Now I will need bags into which I will pour water. It can be plain rainwater, or it can be with a rooting hormone to speed up the rooting process. Then I put the cutting in a bag so that the part without leaves is in the water. I close the bag and secure it with a tie. I repeat this process with all the cuttings. The cuttings are kept in a warm place, but not in direct sunlight. The rosemary cuttings will grow roots in 4-8 weeks. That’s how I got new rosemary seedlings. I will transplant them into smaller pots. Later, when they grow into a small bush, we transfer them to large pots. To get a fig seedling, I used a similar rooting technique, perhaps an even stranger one. I say stranger because the branch is not completely separated from the tree. I cut the selected fig branch just as you can see. Then here, I also used a bag with water and secured it with a tie. I left it to stand for less than 4 weeks and look. It seems to me that the fig forms a root even faster than the rosemary. Then I remove the bag and completely cut the fig branch with the root. In this way, you can produce and sell seedlings, give seedlings as a gift, or use them for your own needs. The next example is grapevine cuttings. This time I didn’t use bags but made containers from plastic cups. There was also water inside. Look how well the grapevine cuttings have rooted. It seems to me that it took a little longer for that. I planted the obtained grapevine seedlings outdoors, so I’ll see what kind of grapes they will be. Lemon seedlings can also be successfully rooted in this way. But still, to get a lemon with fruit like the one on my terrace, you will have to graft the lemon. That is already a special topic, which we will talk about in one of the next videos. And to finish with rooting tomato cuttings. Tomato is one of the most popular plants on this channel. You may know that the tomato branches that grow in the armpit are removed between the stem and the side branch, as part of pruning the tomato. These branches do not have to be thrown away. You can dip them in a container with water so that a good part of the branch is in the water. On the part that is in contact with water, a root develops very quickly, maybe in just a few weeks. In this really simple way, we got new tomato seedlings, which you can plant in the ground right away. These are seedlings for late tomato planting. This simple way of producing new seedlings will save you money. The easiest way to support our work is to like the video. Click on the follow button. Then on the bell. And finally, confirm the bell. 1. Dont expect to get fruits like figs,grapes,apples,pears..}after doing that. They will grow wild and tasteless. For exemple the vines after being plated as you saw here..1 yr later you need to cut it , cut it open in the top and insert a stick from a mature vine…then cover it with smooth soil..then you will have grapes after 2 yrs.

  2. My experience has been that the cuttings from even sun loving plants absolutely hate any direct sunlight while they are developing their first roots, I suspect that one reason may be because they have trouble maintaining moisture!

  3. the plants you have chosen are easy to propagate- why don't you show more challenging plants such as camellias, hibiscus, Japanese maple, azalea and rhododendrons????

  4. Another pointless waste of time…..Just put all the cuttings in one cup of water and stop taking advice from AI

  5. Buenas Noches…que tal si mezclo el agua con azúcar para enraizar?…esperaré alguna respuesta… gracias.. saludos y bendiciones
