I brought this one, hoping that i could mount it on a bark surrounded by moss.
But idk what kind it is, or what care it needs

If you are a beginner and purchased your orchid at a grocery store, more than likely it is of the genus Phalaenopsis. Most common orchids, especially Phalaenopsis, are hybrids and it is difficult or impossible to identify the name. This isn’t to say your orchid can’t be identified. In many cases, it might be possible to somewhat identify the parents of your orchid.

I tried google images for you and it gives me Oncidium as ID?

Very nice! If you have no tag I’d say that guy is in the oncostele/oncidium zone which likes likes damp never dry and pretty bright light – looks kinda like ‘eye candy’. I think mounting works better if it’s hot and humid where you’re growing, and that one might be a particularly tough one as it’s drinky. An expert would know more. Great plant!
