I would get rid of that soil and look at the roots, they might be rotten. If that’s the case, cut off all the rotten parts and try to make a cutting from the still green part of your plant. Epipremnum needs a chunky substrate, this looks too heavy to me
I would just propagate ā¤ļø
I think it might be rotted, judging by how the stems look just above the soil. But you could try and salvage it by taking cuttings and propagating them! The green parts that still look healthy enough could be cut, just make sure you include the nodes in the cuttings. There are a lot of good tutorials about it when you google! š
Cut the green stems off above the black rot. Let the cuttings heal for a day and then place them in water. Make sure the nodes (look like little stubs on the stem) are submerged as this is where the roots will grow from. Once you have lots of white healthy roots you can put the cuttings in soil again. If heavy rain is common where you live I would move it indoors as they only like to be watered when the soil is COMPLETELY dry. I water mine every 3-4 weeks in the UK where it is quite cold. It may be more regularly if you live somewhere warm. Hope this helps and good luck.
