Garden Bloom @ Tengah is an estate so fresh that some hoardings remain up and several fixtures are still wrapped in plastic. A highlight for families is the Garden Bloom @ Tengah playground.
Garden Bloom @ Tengah Playground: Ixora Play Tower

The Ixora Play Tower at Block 243, is designed for children aged five to twelve. It features a series of climbing elements that lead to a straight tube slide at the top.
Parents should take note that this slide is extremely fast. The Boays received quite a shock when they shot out of it and landed squarely on their butts — likely due to the slide being both new and straight, allowing for greater acceleration than a spiral one.
Surrounding the tower are several nature-inspired play elements, including hammock-like structures and a coconut rope swing that challenge children’s sense of balance.
There is also a spinner bowl that works like a one-person merry-go-round, along with a trampoline and a see-saw, offering a good variety of movement-based play.
Toddler Play Area

Near the multistorey car park is a toddler area. When we visited, the wooden butterfly play structure was undergoing maintenance, but the surrounding space still offered plenty of fun through its leaf-shaped climbing feature, rubber mounds with tunnels and rope structures.

The open layout also gives younger children room to run freely.
If time allows, taking the lift up to the car park’s rooftop garden is worthwhile.
Though it does not feature the jogging tracks or playground equipment found in other Tengah rooftops, it offers a calm environment with edible greens and a lovely vantage point for watching the sunset.
Garden Bloom @ Tengah Playgrounds

The new playgrounds in Tengah demonstrate how thoughtfully designed neighbourhood spaces can create an inclusive environment for all ages—from toddlers and older kids to adults and seniors.
With its mix of challenging climbing structures, sensory paths, fitness corners and imaginative play areas, Tengah continues to shine as one of Singapore’s most exciting playground districts.
And with more precincts opening in the coming months, we are eager to uncover even more hidden gems in this growing town.
