Goose have released Live at Madison Square Garden, a massive new live album capturing their debut performance at The World’s Most Famous Arena. Recorded during that breakthrough staging on June 28, the ascendant indie-jam quartet’s latest release commemorates a year of musical achievement by presenting the show in its uninterrupted 19-track glory. The project is available on all streaming services now, as well as a seven-LP vinyl box set.

Goose’s biggest headline show to date arrived hot on the heels of their triumphant fourth studio album, Everything Must Go, and matched key selections from that album a range of beloved covers, including Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill,” Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes’ “Don’t Leave Me This Way” and Otis Day and The Nights’ “Shama Lama Ding Dong.” Beyond versions of setlist staples like “A Western Sun” and “Tumble” that demonstrated the performers’ decade of evolution, some of the evening’s most enthralling moments were those bolstered by Everything Must Go’s horn section of Stuart Bogie, Dave Nelson and Andrew McGovern, who gave tried and true tracks a new celebratory feeling.

In this exhilarating, experimental blur, Goose blew well past the venue’s curfew. Rather than cut their plans short, the band demonstrated their gratitude and ambition by facing the fine and opting to “hang out for a while,” ultimately stretching beyond four total hours of stage time. As the final chords of “Arcadia” rang out, the band honored the end of one chapter and strode confidently into a new era; the power of that moment is meticulously preserved here with mixing and mastering by D. James Goodwin and engineering by Eric Loomis.

Goose’s miracle year will come to a close with Goosemas XII, staging at Providence, R.I.’s Amica Mutual Pavilion on Dec.12 and 13. The group will carry this momentum into 2026 with a Spring Tour, leading directly into their second-annual Viva El Gonzo destination event.
