Authorities say Pennsylvania state police were pursuing the vehicle when it lost control and crashed.
NEW GARDEN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — A police chase ended in a deadly crash early Friday morning.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. near Gap Newport Pike and Sharp Road in New Garden Township, Chester County.
Police say the chase started over a traffic stop.
Authorities say Pennsylvania state police were pursuing the vehicle when it lost control and crashed.
One person was trapped inside the vehicle and later pronounced dead.
A second person inside the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital but also later pronouned dead.
No police were injured.
Crash investigators remain on the scene.
