Welcome to MP Landscape and Garden Design. I’m Michael and today I want to share why I believe working with a professional garden designer can transform your outdoor space into something truly special. Many people look at their back garden and see a lawn, a patio, and a few borders. I see potential. It’s about creating a lifestyle outdoors, and that’s where I can make all the difference. One of the questions I’m often asked is, “How does the design process work? Here’s how I approach it. Initial consultation. I start by visiting your garden and listening carefully to your ideas, lifestyle, and priorities. This is about understanding how you want to use the space. Whether that’s cooking outdoors, entertaining friends, or creating a quiet retreat. I also give you a questionnaire to fill in. This gives me an in-depth understanding of your requirements. From there, I develop two concept plans with 3D images and a walkthrough animation for each plan that captures the overall layout, features, and flow of the garden. This stage is collaborative. You’ll see options, and we’ll refine them together. Once the concept is agreed, I create one colored garden layout plan, one black and white garden layout plan, one dimensions plan for setting the garden design out, six photorealistic 3D images, and one walkthrough animation. This ensures everything is clear before work begins. Finally, I can oversee the construction process if you require. I can leaz with contractors, check progress and make sure the design is delivered exactly as planned. This takes the stress off your shoulders and ensures the highest standards are met. By following this process, I make sure every garden is tailored, practical, and built to last. It’s not just about creating something beautiful. It’s about giving you confidence, clarity, and a space that truly enhances your life.
