I’ve had this plant since March of this year. She stays in my office at work, and on the weekends I put her in the window to get sunlight(never directly). The brown parts on the stem is what I’m curious/concerned about. It looks like it’s peeling and feels dry.

Yeah that’s normal! No idea what it’s called tbh but I have a dozen or so pothos plants and they all have that. It’s like the sheath where the new growth busts out of
Are you talking about this? If so, it’s normal. It’s the petiolar sheath.
