Today we’re working for Andy, after his care worker reached out and nominated him for a free garden rescue.
Andy lives with numerous physical and mental health challenges, and we wanted to get his outside space back into good condition so that he, and his beloved dog, could really enjoy it again.

Welcome to Mountain Garden Rescue 🌿

I’m James — and I clean up seriously overgrown gardens for free to help people who are struggling.

Whether it’s due to age, disability, mental health, financial hardship, or just feeling completely overwhelmed, I believe everyone deserves a tidy outdoor space to relax in.

On this channel, you’ll find:
🌱 Time-lapse garden transformations
🌳 Real stories from people in need
🧤 Satisfying clean-ups from start to finish
💚 Honest conversations about life, struggle, and community

This project is all about helping good people who feel stuck — and bringing neglected spaces back to life.

  1. 🌱 Help Me Rescue More Gardens 🌸

I’ve launched channel memberships as a way for those who want to support my work to get involved. Right now, I’m limited with tools and transport, which means I can only take on smaller tidy-ups. With your support, I’ll be able to upgrade, tackle bigger transformations, and give even more families back the gardens they deserve.

  2. Great job! Most people would have said no to that back yard filled with dog poo, but you soldiered on. Bless you for that. I know that gentleman looks forward to sitting back there and spending time with his dog, who will also enjoy being able to get out and stretch his legs!! Hopefully someone will help him keep the yard clean of poo and mowed from this point on. God bless you.

  3. I wish you could come to Atlanta, Georgia (US). As a person with AuDHD and CPTSD, I can definitely relate to these situations. Thank you for helping all these deserving people. ❤

  4. This must have been a tough one with all the dog poop.Goodness you deserve a medal the size of a frying pan.Aww the dear fella was so happy with the gifts for his dog. Thanks to you for making it a better space for them.😊

  5. That poor elderly man doesn't own a garden desk for having a tea outside. In other transformations the owners asked you to throw away furniture and other equipment that still looked very usable. Maybe you can find a way to develope a small storage area where you keep a used desk or two, a few seats, a few outdoor toys and maybe a small number of plant pots and other things that you can give to people in need.

  6. Hello James,I saw you working in this garden in shorts.
Perhaps you don't realise in this kind of garden the thicks are around.
Its better for yourself to wear long trousers. To avoid any risks.
Thank you for helping these people.
    You did a nice job.

  7. Another clean up guy that uses a dust pan and brush to throughly clean up, the only other is garden care guru, just shows professionalism and pride.
    Fantastic job 👏 👍

  8. No matter how much you want to, if you cannot take proper care of your pet, then you should not own one.

  9. Door dog 🙁 if it’s in this state now who’s gonna carry on picking up after the dog surly it’s just gonna get back into this state

  10. The neighbors/family/friends should start a fundraiser to get him a couple of fruit trees for the back to combat any future odors, a dinette for the back, some grass and flowers for color and to soften the look and maybe a birdbath for the front or back to watch the birds.
