  6. Hi Kaye, The only 2 flowers I have after the freeze is a calendula and yarrow. I am in zone 8b central Georgia. I am missing my spring/summer 2025 garden. I tried to keep my red mexican sunflowers like you did and two out of three are still surviving. I cleaned out my 2025 spring/summer/fall veges in stages ahead of the November 11th freeze (cucumber and squash which was not producing much, wonderful prolific okra and sweet peppers, basil, and herbs). On November 11th, temps was a low 30 degrees Fahrenheit (felt like 21 degrees F). I enjoyed saving seeds (basil, zinnias, pepper, tomato, melon, squash, dill, and persimmon). I had basil, zinnias, pepper, tomato, amazingly, all spring, summer, and fall; up until the freeze. I feel as though I will not need to purchase many seeds in spring 2026. I want to succession plant everything in June 2026 for fall, maybe…i do not know. I wonder, because my succession planting was a fail over the hot 2025 summer. I am still a novice gardener. I enjoy watching your gardening videos. Sincerely, Wanda

  7. You never know about moringa. It may come back out from the roof next spring. I had some in a pot and it was cold, but I had them covered up with lots of leaves and it came out.
