SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s Christmas Town is now open with festive entertainment, holiday treats, and character appearances running select dates through Jan. 5.
The seasonal event includes shows, new culinary offerings, and opportunities to meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus. Christmas Town is included with regular park admission.
Kristine Morgan, vice president of entertainment at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, joined us to promote the event alongside 2 pink flamingo friends, Santa’s elves, and a zookeeper.
Entertainment and attractions
The park features world-class ice skaters, festive drone shows on select nights, and special Christmas entertainment with Sesame Street characters. Miles of twinkling lights illuminate the park throughout the celebration.
Visitors can experience holiday-inspired food options and meet festive characters under the light displays. The event bills itself as Tampa Bay’s biggest and brightest seasonal celebration.
Christmas Town represents the park’s longest-running holiday tradition, offering programming designed for all ages during the winter season.
