Three Important Rose Care Tips
Prune Dry Stems
Trim off any dry or dead stems. If you don’t, the plant will waste energy trying to send new shoots through them. Make sure not to cut any green stems—only the dry, brown ones. Pruning dry stems helps your plant grow new ones happily and healthily.
Deadhead Faded Flowers
Cut off faded or dried flowers (deadheading). This encourages the plant to produce fresh growth and new flower buds.
Control Pests
Regularly check the back of the leaves and stems for bugs. If you spot any, spray neem oil immediately. If there are too many pests, cut off the affected parts and then spray neem oil.
Do all of this when the weather is warm and not during the hottest, sunniest hours. Following these three steps will give you great results.
